Put something up here. Lexi and I are beginning to think we're just talking to ourselves. Right, Lex?
ALSO: follow this link and draw each type of fold in pencil on sketch paper at least 8"x10".
Drop Fold, Zig Zag (not a rolling paper), Diaper Folds (not associated with babies), Half-lock Folds (not associated with WWF), Spiral Folds and the ever-popular PIPE FOLD (not a drug reference)! If you get your sketches posted before I get mine posted, YOU GET A PRIZE!!!*
And, no, I don't have these drawn already.
And, yes, I know it's finals week. I'm just as busy as you are.
And, Angela, has NO excuse not to win the PRIZES!!!!

So, you want to learn to draw better costume renderings. You are fortunate enough to have people willing to teach you. Lex and I will create assignments that will challenge you and improve your skills during the spring semester. If you draw every day, you WILL get better. We will meet in the beginning of the semester to figure out how often we want to get together and how this will all work. SO plan on the first thursday of the semester to meet during common hour in the costume shop. Get your art supplies ready and post something you've already drawn here and indicate any areas you'd really like to focus on (draping, clothes on the body, watercolor, marker, highlighting, fabric rendering, etc.). We'll come up with your first project for you to bring to the very first meeting. You are all advanced drawers so don't expect it to be too easy!
